State, Problems and Potential of Development of Press-Forging Equipment Manu-facturing in Russia. Yu.A. Zimin. Analysis data on domestic press-forging equipment manufacturing in connection with multiple slump in production of the equipment (27 times in 1990-1996), wear-out and obsolescence of the existing equipment stock, a reduction in personnel of works and research institutes are presented. Activities of The Forgemaster Union and the scientific and technological public for solution of these problems and revealing of press-forging machine types, priority for production and development, are shown.
