The concept of lawmaking, its elements and their places are shown. Among main elements of the law making the aggregate of technical methods is singled out. This is Hie legal technic. The legal technic itself is the independent stage of law making. The essence of legal technic is the technical means and methods, which are themselves tlie subjects of legal regulation. Today there exist several sorts of rules of law dealing witht technical means and methods. The limits of legal technic are defin'ed and the analyses of its main' features is suggested. The author points out that the legal technic is not material substratum.
