Retrospective analysis of the Russian legislation on collective labour disputes is given in the article. The article presents general background and definition of a collective labourdispute and gives examples of strikes at the Russian enterprises from judicial practice. The authors investigate and analyze the main categories of possible disputes between employers and employees and characterize different factors directly or indirectly influencing protest actions
