Possible application of probabilistic approach for revealing integral landscape structures, both geostationary and geo-circulatory, is suggested which is based on the concept of multi-structural nature of landscapes. Relief and sediments of a middle taiga landscape in the Arkhangelsk oblast were classified, and probability of correspondence of soil and vegetation parameters to each class and the uncertainty of belonging to individual classes were calculated. Probabilistic maps of integral geo-circulatory and geo-stationary structures were compiled. It has been found that integral geo-circulatory structures occupy larger areas than geo-stationary ones. Lateral flows are more active in the isolation of landscape structures than radial ones. Integral structures are more common for sloping surfaces, while within flat interfluves the relations between inert and mobile components are more multivariate. Areas with intersecting geo-stationary and geo-circulatory structures form within urotshistshes with the most pronounced deviation from the natural features of the middle taiga sub-zone.
