The Crimea is among the most important centers of biodiversity in Ukraine. Natural landscapes indispensable for its conservation account for just a small part of the territory. This brings up the need of both the improvement of existing system of nature protection and its expansion over new areas. The article deals with the problems of the present-day state of the ecological network of the Crimea and the prospects of its development by integration of natural-anthropogenic objects, namely recreational and natural-settlement areas.
