A Psychosemantic Analysis of Stereotypes of the Russian Character

The study of stereotypes of interethnic perception is an essential task for psychologists and sociologists, both in its academic and its applied aspect. In its scientific-academic sense, this task entails an in-depth exploration of psychological cognitive-affective mechanisms of the formation of stereotypes, an examination of the role of extracognitive factors in them (for example, the general emotional-evaluative attitude or disposition).
